The centre of the coin depicts the unrealised plan for the Slovenian Parliament designed by Jože Plecnik, Slovenia's greatest architect.
To the upper left and right the words ‘KATEDRALA SVOBODE’ (The cathedral of freedom) are inscribed in a semi-circle.
The year of issue appears at the bottom of the image.
The image and the inscription are surrounded by twelve stars, positioned between which appears the inscription ‘SLOVENIJA’.
The mint mark appears to the right of the bottom star.
